News this week 7/31/08:

MARILYN MERLOT, just arrived. This Absolutely delicious Napa Valley Merlot is hardly ever really drunk...what a shame!!! Most people buy it just to collect it. The new 2006 is the same price as the last few years.$29.99/btl. We do have a bottle of their 1986 in our glass case at a mere $1999.00/btl. (listed at $2750.00 on their web site) and yes people collect the series and go absolutely nuts with filling in a vintage or 2...and the older ones are extremely scarce, and ridiculously expensive!!! We recently sold several early '90s vintages in the $600 to $800/btl range...when I can obtain them from private collectors..but they don't last here too long!!! It's a crazy business sometimes

Still have a bit of Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon. The 05 vintage has garnered another "Perfect 100 point score" from Robert Parker Jr.'s "The Wine Advocate" making it the only wine in the world to earn 3 perfect 100 point scores from this famous wine reviewer. The wine is very allocated, as one might suspect, and we dole it out to make its way in to all the best palates and homes we can. The wine will be sold out soon!!! (Has been sold out at the winery for months) and is currently trading out on internet auction sites in the $200 to $350 /btl. range!!!  ( although our price is currently less than this) If you are in to collectable "cult" Washington Cabs...come in soon for a bottle or 2 of Quilceda Creek or Leonetti...before it's too late!!!

Also Leonetti Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon..both expensive...but DO THE MATH!!! If you are a Wineaux Gregarious member, these wines are actually at around the same price as you could have bought from the wineries...if you were actually on their lists..( which isn't easy to get on...and then they usually require you to buy by the case!!!)
Five Star Cellars has released a few new vintages too!!! Sangiovese, Syrah and we still have a bit of their superb Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot!

Small amounts of Leonetti Cellars: Cabernet and Merlot in now...allocated out to a bottle or 2 pp (if you are not a very regular customer...you may be required to shop a bit more in order to be able to purchase any of these)  Some of the absolute best and certainly one of the "Holy Grails" of Washington Reds

From Sorenson newly Released Cab/Merlot blend (from '02...where has Sorensen been hiding this stuff...???) Great value at $16.99/btl. and of course all these prices (unless marked "net price") are subject to all our discount levels : 1/2, whole and mixed case...as well as our ridiculously generous Wineaux Gregarious discounts!!! Also from Sorensen Cabernet Franc, in stock now too $24.99/btl.
