Joe Euro is also a well regarded Guitarist/ Recording Artist. The newest CD "Souvenir" was released in 2008. His other critically acclaimed CDs: "The High Road" and "Eyes On The Horizon" have been featured on some of the big Nationally Syndicated Radio Broadcasts of NPR and PRI such as "echoes" with host John Diliberto, and "Hearts Of Space" with host Steven Hill. About the Wine Seller

Established by Joe Euro...

in November of 1982, in Port Townsend, Washington by Joe Euro. Joe was tired of stuffy and somewhat snobby wine shops he'd experienced in cities where he had lived, and his vision was to establish a very "user friendly" atmosphere, where wine knowledge and customer service were to be available to wine "newbies" as well as seasoned wine drinking/collectors and connoisseurs alike. In the spring of 2007 we moved to a larger location.

Being one of the oldest, best regarded and established wine shops in the State of Washington, The Wine Seller is able to obtain and stock some rare and highly allocated wines too...when available, such as Quilceda Creek, Leonetti Cellars, Woodward Canyon, Silver Oak, Spottswood, Pahlmeyer, Shafer "Hillside Select"..and the list goes on. Many newer Washington and Oregon "Superstars" too such as Walla Walla Vintners, 5 Star Cellars, DeLille Cellars, L'Ecole #41, Ken Wright, Sinnean, Owen Roe, and many more!!!

More about Joe Euro

I was in "Fine Dining" as a waiter in Chicago, Seattle, Port Townsend, and the Virgin Islands. I became the wine buyer/Sommelier for Lonny Ritter's restaurant, The Lido, back in the late '70s/early 80's. I learned that little known secet then about how all the Washington State Wine/Beer distributors have to "post" their current and or temporary prices with the Washington State Liquor Contol, and charge all Licensees the same "per bottle" price!  No Volume discounts...No "Big Box Store" discounts, etc. etc. So when Joe wanted to switch to a "day job" and keep evenings open for Guitar gigs...the proverbial "light bulb" went off over his head, and he realized he could sell wines and beer retail in Port Townsend at a fair and competitive price...and with his knowledge of the distributors gained while being Lonny's "Sommelier"..Joe knows how to get the goods..and the rest is history.
